| About Stockton Stockton is located on the northern side of Newcastle Harbour. Today Stockton is becoming a very sought after location. With its magnificent beach which stretches all the way up to Port Stephens. Its beautiful Harbour setting which encompasses the Newcastle Ferry service which intern provides a mecca of restaurants and shopping within five minutes travel. Stockton itself possesses some exceptional features. The Stockton Breakwall is an attraction in itself. The Breakwall which is also known as shipwreck walk has approximately 30 shipwrecks stretches out to sea approximately 600 metres and is a great spot for fishing, watching the massive ships coming in to dock or just a lazy stroll. Stockton also has a reputation for being a very sporting suburb. Within the suburb there is many various sporting clubs including Rugby League, Netball, Cricket, Tennis, Golf, Lawn Bowls and its very own little athletics. Stockton is a great place to raise a family. It has 2 local schools, 2 pre-schools and has transport to major high schools in the area. Overall Stockton is a great place to live.
